XRP is attempting a recovery after buyers defended the $1.25-$1.30 demand zone earlier this week. Now trading around $1.36, the asset is approaching the upper boundary of its short-term descending channel. This level could decide whether the rebound develops into a broader recovery or fades into another lower high.

XRP Price Analysis: The USDT Pair

The daily chart shows XRP still within the broader bearish structure that followed its early-2026 peak near $2.40. The sharp August rally from the $1.00 region carried the price into the $1.70 supply zone, but sellers rejected the move, and the September attempt topped out lower near $1.65, creating a double top just below the area.

The latest decline found support once more in the $1.25–$1.32 demand zone, which served as the base of the mid-September rebound. A lower wick toward approximately $1.25 and the subsequent bullish candles suggest buyers are responding at this area. Holding above it would keep the recovery attempt intact, with the early-October bearish imbalance around $1.50 acting as the first resistance ahead of the major $1.70 supply zone.

Conversely, a decisive daily close below $1.25 would invalidate the current defense and expose the $1.15 zone, which marked the July consolidation highs before the August breakout. Below that, the $1 area remains the key floor, having served as the launchpad for the sharp rally in August.

The 4-Hour Chart

On the 4-hour timeframe, XRP has been trading inside a descending channel since peaking near $1.65 in late September, with the bearish trendlines framing a series of lower highs and lower lows. The most recent swing low tagged the lower boundary near $1.25, inside the $1.25–$1.30 demand zone, before buyers triggered a sharp reversal.

The token has since reclaimed the upper edge of that zone and is now pressing toward the upper channel trendline around $1.38. A valid breakout above it would break the short-term bearish structure and bring the $1.45 level into view. This is a former support area that flipped into resistance after the early-October breakdown. Clearing that barrier could open the way toward the $1.65 rebound highs.

However, a rejection from the upper trendline would keep the channel intact and likely send XRP back toward $1.30, which is the top of the demand zone. A loss of that area, followed by a break below the lower boundary near $1.25, would point to continuation toward the $1.15 region. Until the channel resolves, the latest move remains a relief rally within a downtrend rather than a confirmed reversal, and buyers should still act with caution.
