The crypto market isn\u2019t exactly in great shape today, with BTC USD and ETH USD pairs still stuck in a brutal slump<\/a>. However, not everything is in red. Newer players like Plasma(XPL), ASTER, Stable (SBTL), and Avantis(AVNT) are drawing USD liquidity in. While BTC slipped below 110K USD and ETH dropped over 2.5%, those newer coins are recording more than 100% gains at least.<\/span><\/p>\n

XPL USD pair is hitting $1.5 after launching, and ASTER USD pair is posting 3-digit percentage gains to $2.4, before correcting these past 2 days.<\/span><\/p>\n\n

On social media, especially Twitter, the sentiment is bumping up. Posts about ASTER are wildly climbing by 190% weekly. From fuds to people posting bullish tweets, ASTER is just everywhere, thanks to CZ, Binance Founder\u2019s involvement. People are calling it the next big perp DEX, with a growing comparison to Hyperliquid.<\/span><\/p>\n\n

Meanwhile, XPL is being praised for its zero-fee stablecoin transfers and actual use cases, as well as Tether\u2019s backing. That matters in a market where ETH and BTC can\u2019t seem to catch a break, slumping still against USD.<\/span><\/p>\n

ASTER and XPL USD Pairs Catch Fire as BTC and ETH Stumble<\/h2>\n

Despite the weakness in BTC \u25bc-1.82%<\/span><\/a> and ETH \u25bc-2.49%<\/span><\/a>, tokens like ASTER and XPL are gaining traction where it counts. According to CoinGlass, open interest in ASTER USD has exploded to more than $1 billion.<\/span><\/p>\n\n

Meanwhile DeFiLlama reports that it\u2019s already racking up serious perp volume, even blasting above Hyperliquid with $100 billion this week alone. These while XPL attracting over 1 billion USD in bridged assets.<\/span><\/p>\n\n

The numbers show that crypto traders are rotating their USD stablecoins out of the old names and into whatever\u2019s showing life, and lately, that\u2019s been ASTER, XPL, AVNT, and STBL.<\/span><\/p>\n

STBL, currently priced around $0.46, has doubled this week. Backed by a $100M minting plan and backed by Tether\u2019s CEO, it is racking up its legitimacy.<\/span><\/p>\n

AVNT, Avantis, is following a similar path. Even after a 19% correction today, it\u2019s up 45% over the week, trading just above 1.5 USD. With RWA perps and institutional players sniffing around, AVNT USD has become one to watch.<\/span><\/p>\n

So while BTC USD and ETH USD pairs are dragging, the market is still alive.`<\/span><\/p>\n
