There\u2019s no science behind it- Personal finance is not rocket science by any\u00a0means.<\/p>\n
Yet a lot of people look at it that\u00a0way.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s much simpler than you think it is. That\u2019s what I want to discuss in this\u00a0post.<\/p>\n
Several years ago, I was listening to a podcast (no longer active) where the host talked about personal finance and money\u00a0tips.<\/p>\n
I remembered he didn\u2019t go into too much jargon or made it super\u00a0complex.<\/p>\n
Who wants to make things complex when it comes to money management?<\/p>\n
If you\u2019re one of those people, we\u2019re on the same\u00a0page.<\/p>\n
Anyway, the host talked about how personal finance is much easier to achieve these\u00a0days.<\/p>\n
He mentioned that you can read all of the books in the world that discuss personal\u00a0finance.<\/p>\n
While that\u2019s nice, they\u2019re useless if you don\u2019t take any\u00a0action.<\/p>\n
All reading and passive learning won\u2019t get you anywhere, which is why you need to take a better approach.<\/p>\n
So rather than reading a bunch of books on finances, there\u2019s a much simpler method to\u00a0it.<\/p>\n
I\u2019ll never forget what the podcast host said (and it still echoes in my mind these\u00a0days).<\/p>\n
\u201cYou only need to follow these 3 tips to ensure financial success. If you do, you\u2019ll never have to read another personal finance book\u00a0again.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n They are:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Spend less than you\u00a0make<\/em><\/strong>Save some money aside into an emergency fund (i.e. Rainy\u00a0day)<\/em><\/strong>Invest the rest in things you understand.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Those 3 things have stuck in my mind for the last several years, which have helped guide me to improving my financial situation.<\/p>\n For most people, following these tips are not\u00a0easy.<\/p>\n The first tip is one that most people can\u2019t get over\u00a0with.<\/p>\n With the borrowing and overconsumption society we live in, spending less is not desirable.<\/p>\n The second one is hard as well. Most people don\u2019t even have $1000 to cover for an emergency- Let alone\u00a0$500.<\/p>\n It shows how bad the financial situation is in the world, especially in the United\u00a0States.<\/p>\n The last one, I believe, is the most important one.<\/p>\n Investing in things you understand the most can make a difference in your financial future.<\/p>\n If there\u2019s something you don\u2019t understand or don\u2019t know where to start, the best thing to do is invest in yourself.<\/p>\n If you take the time to invest the rest of your money into yourself, it\u2019s the greatest return you\u2019ll ever\u00a0get.<\/p>\n There\u2019s no doubt about it, as it\u2019s one that can take you far in\u00a0life.<\/p>\n Either way, following these 3 tips will help you stay ahead of the financial curve.<\/p>\n It won\u2019t be easy starting out, but it makes a difference later\u00a0on.<\/p>\n I continue to follow these 3 tips for personal finance. The last few years have been remarkable.<\/p>\n It\u2019s why I consider myself to be in better financial shape than most of my\u00a0peers.<\/p>\n However, I want more people to have the same success as I have, so that they can be prosperous and live their best\u00a0lives.<\/p>\n That\u2019s goes behind my purpose to help young generations succeed in finances and build\u00a0wealth.<\/p>\n Not just for themselves, but for their families as\u00a0well.<\/p>\n Over the last year, I\u2019ve made big strides in helping build wealth for\u00a0myself.<\/p>\n I\u2019m not rich, nor will I achieve it overnight.
