According to CryptoQuant\u2019s data, the total number of ETH stored on exchanges <\/span>has<\/span> dropped to roughly 19 million on July 27, <\/span>which is<\/span> the lowest level registered in almost a decade.<\/span> This<\/span> is typically interpreted as a bullish factor, as it suggests that investors have switched to self-custody methods<\/span>, which<\/span> reduces the immediate selling pressure.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The massive capital flowing<\/a> into spot ETH ETFs also supports the price momentum.\u00a0Data compiled by SoSoValue <\/span>shows<\/span> that\u00a0the daily\u00a0netflows have been positive over the last several weeks, signaling solid interest from investors.<\/span><\/p>\n

However, some indicators should serve as warnings to investors. <\/span>Ethereum\u2019s Relative Strength Index (RSI), for instance, has neared 70, <\/span>meaning<\/span> the valuation has <\/span>pumped<\/span> too quickly in a short <\/span>period of time<\/span>.<\/span> Readings above that level suggest the price might be headed for a short-term correction, while anything below 30 <\/span>is viewed<\/span> as a buying opportunity.

The Next Potential Targets<\/span><\/h2>\n

Numerous members of the crypto community believe ETH is ready to chart new peaks. The X user cyclop <\/span>claimed<\/span><\/a> the asset \u201cjust doesn\u2019t give a chance to buy lower,\u201d describing this as \u201cthe strongest sign of strength you can get.\u201d That said, they envisioned a parabolic move to as high as $4,800.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

For his part, Crypto Rover reminded<\/a> that ETH\u2019s price pumped substantially following the previous two FOMC meetings. The next gathering of the Federal Reserve <\/span>is scheduled<\/span> for July 29 \u2013 July 30, after which the central bank will announce its interest rate decision.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

According to Polymarket, there is a 95.5% probability that the benchmark will remain unchanged at 4.25%-4.50%, and we have yet to see whether this will have an impact on ETH and the broader crypto market.
