The only way to find out which airline flew where was to pick up the phone and call. It was a huge\u00a0hassle.<\/p>\n Then online disruptors like Expedia (EXPE) and Priceline (BKNG) came along. With a few clicks, you could compare any flight or hotel in the world. Since 2000, more than half the travel agencies in America have shut their\u00a0doors.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, Priceline made early investors a fortune. Since 2002, its stock has risen 60,000%+.<\/p>\n Or consider stockbrokers. They were once the world\u2019s best-paid middlemen. Brokers charged $49\/trade, on average, back in\u00a01975!<\/p>\n Today, stockbrokers are dying off. For most folks, there\u2019s no need to call up a broker when you can trade stocks for free on Interactive Brokers (IBKR), Schwab (SCHW), or pretty much every platform. Schwab soared 475% from 2003 to the beginning of this year. Interactive Brokers climbed 455% from 2013\u20122021.<\/p>\n Realtors are facing a similar squeeze from online competition. Zillow (Z) makes it easy and free to research any house or neighborhood. Its stock appreciated over 600% from 2015\u20122021.<\/p>\n These are all disruptor stocks. The disruptors I\u2019m focused on are disruptor cryptos.<\/strong><\/p>\n Most people think of crypto as internet\u00a0money.<\/p>\n Bitcoin (BTC)<\/strong><\/a> <\/strong>is <\/em>internet money. You can go to uniswap.org and buy thousands of cryptos like bitcoin and Ethereum\u00a0(ETH)<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n Unlike the stock market, Uniswap isn\u2019t run by brokers. Every Uniswap trade is processed by code. This code links buyers and sellers directly and completely cuts out middlemen.<\/p>\n UniSwap just crossed $2 trillion in trading volume. That\u2019s larger than Australia\u2019s GDP.<\/p>\n Its UNI token handed early investors gains of\u00a0500%+.<\/p>\n Aave (AAVE)<\/strong> is another disruptor crypto that\u2019s threatening to put middlemen out of business. It\u2019s disrupting banks\u2019 most profitable business: borrowing and\u00a0lending.<\/p>\n Traditional finance is in trouble.
