In 2018, they <\/span>co-founded<\/span><\/a> the Centre Consortium to launch USDC, a stablecoin pegged 1:1 to the American dollar. However, in 2023, they dissolved the consortium, with Circle assuming <\/span>full<\/span> control over the token\u2019s issuance and governance.<\/span><\/p>\n

The company behind XRP has already shown that it <\/span>has the capacity to<\/span> ink multi-billion-dollar deals.
