The X user Carl Moon <\/span>told<\/span><\/a> his almost 1.5 million followers that ETH is trying to break out from a descending channel. He thinks the valuation could skyrocket by <\/span>a whopping<\/span> 80% to $3,000 \u201cin the coming days,\u201d assuming \u201cthere\u2019s enough volume.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Sheldon \u0422he Sniper, another prominent analyst<\/span>, also <\/span>spotted<\/span><\/a> that ETH <\/span>attempts<\/span> to move above the upper boundary of a falling wedge pattern, assuming this could be a precursor to a rally.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

For their part, X user Crypto King <\/span>argued<\/span><\/a> that the asset is currently in a \u201cgreat accumulation zone.\u201d They reminded <\/span>that<\/span> whales have been on a buying spree lately, acquiring millions of dollars worth of ETH.<\/span><\/p>\n

Earlier today (April 14), CryptoGoos <\/span>revealed<\/span><\/a> that a mysterious whale spent almost $7 million to purchase 4,208 ETH. Furthermore, Lookonchain disclosed<\/a> that another large investor accumulated 15,953 ETH for over $26 million.<\/span><\/p>\n

Moves like this are typically seen as bullish, as they reflect strong confidence in the asset from big players<\/span>.<\/span> This<\/span> could encourage other investors to follow suit and inject fresh capital into the ecosystem.<\/span><\/p>\n

Contrary to the optimism from the <\/span>aforementioned analysts<\/span>, some technical indicators suggest that another correction could be on the way.<\/span><\/p>\n

ETH\u2019s exchange netflow, for instance, has been positive in the past week, <\/span>signaling<\/span><\/a> a shift from self-custody toward centralized platforms. <\/span>This<\/span> could be interpreted as<\/span> a bearish factor since it increases the immediate selling pressure.<\/span><\/p>\n

ETH\u2019s Relative Strength Index (RSI) is also worth observing. The metric varies from 0 to 100 and helps traders spot potential trend reversals. Readings above 70 suggest the asset has entered overbought territory and could <\/span>be headed<\/span> for a pullback.
