Judge Christopher Nugee of the UK Court of Appeal ruled against Howells. He said that his case had<\/span> \u201c<\/span>no real prospect of success<\/span>\u201d <\/span>and that there was<\/span> \u201c<\/span>no other compelling reason<\/span>\u201d <\/span>to hear the appeal. <\/span><\/p>\n

This<\/span> follows an earlier ruling <\/span>on 9 January 2025 <\/span>by High Court Judge Andrew Keyser. Similarly, he dismissed <\/span>Howells\u2019<\/span> case arguing that it had no realistic chance of succeeding in a full trial.<\/span><\/p>\n
