He said that his case had<\/span><span> \u201c<\/span><span>no real prospect of success<\/span><span>\u201d <\/span><span>and that there was<\/span><span> \u201c<\/span><span>no other compelling reason<\/span><span>\u201d <\/span><span>to hear the appeal. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>This<\/span><span> follows an earlier ruling <\/span><span>on 9 January 2025 <\/span><span>by High Court Judge Andrew Keyser. Similarly, he dismissed <\/span><span>Howells\u2019<\/span><span> case arguing that it had no realistic chance of succeeding in a full trial.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Howells, however, remains determined to pursue legal action. In a statement to Cointelegraph, he said his<\/span><span> \u201c<\/span><span>last legal option<\/span><span>\u201d <\/span><span>is to appeal to the ECHR.
