As <\/span><em><span>CryptoPotato<\/span><\/em> <a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/bitcoin-btc-briefly-tanks-to-80k-leaving-over-600-million-in-liquidations\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span>reported<\/span><\/a><span>, it tumbled to approximately $80K, leaving multi-million liquidations on a 24-hour scale.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Later, the bulls stepped in <\/span><span>and <\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/bitcoin-btc-rebounds-from-the-crash-to-80000-these-plummet-by-double-digits-market-watch\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span>pushed<\/span><\/a><span> the valuation to almost $84,000.<\/span> <span>The revival<\/span><span>, though, was short-lived and was<\/span><span> followed by another freefall to as low as $79,500.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>As of this writing, BTC trades at around $79,700, <\/span><span>which represents<\/span><span> a 5% decline for the day.
