The native token of the project, <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.kaia.io\/learn\/token-economics\/kaia-native-token\/\">KAIA<\/a> is used to pay transaction fees when creating or executing smart contracts or when transferring KAIA.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cKaia takes a practical approach to blockchain adoption by integrating with platforms people already use. Trading is planned to commence at approximately 2:00 PM UTC on 12 March, 2025, contingent upon liquidity requirements being met.
