The initiative aims for a $2 trillion cut by 2026, with 20% of the savings\u2014roughly $400 billion<\/a>\u2014redirected as $5,000 checks for eligible households.<\/p>\n On this\u00a0Feel Good Friday,\u00a0<\/em>let\u2019s talk Doge checks, the slow Solana rugpull, and everyone\u2019s favorite Bitcoin addict, Michael Saylor!<\/span><\/p>\n (X<\/a>)<\/p>\n After posing with a chainsaw with recent crypto\u00a0rug puller Javier Milei\u2014usually a cool guy, but that\u00a0crypto launch<\/a> was no bueno\u2014<\/span>Musk floated the idea on Twitter, saying he\u2019d \u201ccheck with the President\u201d about stimmy checks.<\/p>\n The Department of Government Efficiency has reported $55 billion in savings to date. However, major media outlets have questioned DOGE\u2019s numbers, some of which have pointed out discrepancies in the task force\u2019s savings reports. For example, one claim of $8 billion in savings was just $8 million\u2014a significant overstatement.<\/p>\n But if the plan does work, here\u2019s how Azoria financial analyst James Fishback thinks it\u2019ll go down:<\/p>\n (DOGE<\/a>)<\/p>\n Fishback\u2019s plan suggests a one-time $5,000 rebate check would be issued to households that pay federal income tax. Estimates indicate this would include about 79 million households.<\/p>\n However, the funds would only become available if DOGE reaches its original $2 trillion savings goal<\/a>. Additionally, the checks would require approval from Congress\u2014an uphill battle given the current political climate.<\/p>\n Yet this is Donald Trump and Elon we\u2019re talking about, so anything is possible.<\/p>\n (X)<\/p>\n After suffering a 10% drop on Solana<\/a> this week, the founder Anatoly Yakovenko appears to be sperging out.<\/p>\n Some days, I still can\u2019t understand how Sam Bankman-Fried\u2019s private playground chain became this huge after the FTX collapse. While Solana has been the butt of many jokes this year \u2013 many calling it a blockchain full of rug pulls \u2013 the silver lining is a SOL ETF likely happening in 2025.<\/p>\n The odds on Polymarket are 80+%. So, we\u2019ll see what this year has in store for Solana.<\/p>\n Michael Saylor is egging on the United States to pump our bags to all-time highs.<\/p>\n Ulterior motives aside, if America wants to lead in the Bitcoin space race, it needs to get involved soon.<\/p>\n (X<\/a>)<\/p>\n Nation states are 100% already buying Bitcoin through proxies. It\u2019s a matter of accumulating<\/a> and not revealing.\u00a0The reason no one is saying anything is that they\u2019re afraid if they reveal they now have X Bitcoin, some other nation-state is going to say, \u201cOh, we do too; we actually have 2x Bitcoin.\u201d That\u2019s my theory anyway.\u00a0China<\/a> knows this, Russia knows this, and the U.S. knows this. <\/span><\/p>\n So,<\/span> the U.S. needs to ensure it has the top amount before revealing anything. Or, I\u2019m totally wrong,\u00a0and no one cares for some reason.
