On January 23, 2025, the politician <\/span>signed<\/span><\/a> an executive order titled \u201cStrengthening American Leadership in Digital Financial Technology,\u201d which supports the growth and use of digital assets and blockchain technology across all sectors of the economy. <\/span><\/p>\n

The order also prohibits federal agencies from \u201cundertaking any action to establish, issue, or promote CBDCs within the jurisdiction of the United States or abroad.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Trump\u2019s presidential victory and the hype surrounding his inauguration were among the main factors fueling the crypto market\u2019s bull run in late 2024 and early 2025, as Ripple\u2019s CEO, Brad Garlinghouse, noted.<\/span><\/p>\n
