Ripple\u2019s co-founder Chris Larsen joined the figures endorsing the presidential candidate amid the firm\u2019s legal battle<\/a> with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).<\/p>\n Nonetheless, the letter\u2019s purpose was not to \u201cconvince the general public to vote for Harris.\u201d As explained by the report, the letter aims to serve as a \u201cwell-timed political show of force\u201d ahead of the September 10 debate against Republican candidate Donald Trump.<\/p>\n The endorsement letter states that the signers consider the Democratic nominee as \u201cthe best way to support the continued strength, security, and reliability of our democracy and economy.\u201d Additionally, it adds that Harris\u2019 election would continue a \u201csound business environment,\u201d backed by the business community\u2019s support.<\/p>\n The list of signers includes several high-profile CEOs of public companies like Box\u2019s Aaron Levie and Yelp\u2019s Jeremy Stoppelman. Moreover, former CEO of Paypal, Dan Schulman, and former CEO of 21st Century Fox, James Murdoch, joined the figures signing the letter.<\/p>\n Pro-crypto billionaire Mark Cuban joined Ripple\u2019s co-founder in the endorsement letter.
