The start of the month has been quite turbulent for Ripple\u2019s native token, with its price briefly tanking below $2 during the crypto crash<\/a> of February 3. XRP bulls reacted almost imminently to the downside and pushed the valuation to around $2.80 a day later.<\/span><\/p>\n

However, the asset couldn\u2019t <\/span>keep the<\/span> momentum, dropping below $2.50 on February 5. In the following days, the bears continued to prevail, and XRP is currently trading at around $2.42 (per CoinGecko\u2019s data).

One person paying close attention to XRP\u2019s performance <\/span>as of late<\/span> was the popular X user CRYPTOWZRD.<\/span> They <\/span>believe<\/span><\/a> the asset closed the weekend \u201cindecisively\u201d but expect a push to the $2.80 resistance level. On the other hand, the analyst outlined $2.05 as a <\/span>major<\/span> support zone.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI expect <\/span>to see<\/span> further upside pressure from this region to get the next long opportunity. <\/span>A positive Bitcoin will be welcomed<\/span>,\u201d they added.<\/span><\/p>\n

Another individual who chipped in is the X user Sjuul, who <\/span>predicted<\/span><\/a> a short-term rally above $3. However, the analyst warned that the asset might have a bumpy ride before reaching that peak, envisioning a potential plunge to $2.10.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cA sweep at around $2.10 would be an ideal area to do some business,\u201d Sjuul claimed.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Bullish Signals<\/span><\/h2>\n

Besides the optimistic predictions from multiple analysts, <\/span>there are some factors <\/span>indicating<\/span><\/a> that XRP could indeed be preparing for another <\/span>leg up<\/span>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Such an example is the possible approval of spot XRP exchange-traded funds (ETFs) in the USA. Recall that <\/span>on February 6<\/span>, Cboe BZX Exchange\u00a0<\/span>lodged<\/span> 19b-4 filings\u00a0on behalf of Canary Capital, WisdomTree, 21Shares, and Bitwise. The US SEC now must approve or reject the applications within 240 days.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

If given the go-ahead, American investors would have more opportunities to invest in Ripple\u2019s native token, which could push its price upward.<\/span><\/p>\n

Next on the list is the whales\u2019 activity. Ali Martinez recently disclosed that large investors purchased 520 million XRP (worth over $1.2 billion at current rates) during the latest dip. This move decreases the available supply, potentially leading to a rally (assuming demand doesn\u2019t head south).<\/span><\/p>\n

Last but not least, we will <\/span>touch upon<\/span> the advancement of Ripple\u2019s stablecoin<\/span> \u2013 <\/span>RLUSD.
