According to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/world\/americas\/lawmakers-el-salvador-rush-new-bitcoin-reform-after-imf-deal-2025-01-30\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Reuters report,\u00a0<\/a> \u201cEl Salvador\u2019s Congress swiftly approved a bill sent just minutes earlier by President Nayib Bukele to amend its bitcoin law to comply with a deal with a key international lender to make acceptance of the cryptocurrency voluntary.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Interestingly, El Salvador bought 11 more Bitcoins on 4 February 2025 to boost its BTC strategic reserve.\u00a0<\/span><span>Currently, the country <\/span><span>holds 6067 BTC.
