Garlinghouse appreciated the kind words, <\/span>saying<\/span><\/a>, \u201c<\/span>Now<\/span> is the time for the crypto community to come together<\/span>, <\/span>push for a level playing field and clear rules of the road.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

A week later, the speculation about a possible partnership increased after Hoskinson held another conversation with someone from Ripple\u2019s management team: the CTO, David Schwartz. Cardano\u2019s founder <\/span>said<\/span><\/a> the subject of the <\/span>conversation<\/span> was the privacy-focused sidechain Midnight and XRP. For his part, Schwartz stated, \u201cIt was a pleasure\u201d talking to Hoskinson.<\/span><\/p>\n

Most recently, Cardano\u2019s founder <\/span>took part<\/span> in a heated discussion on the social media platform X. One user wondered if Cardano would consider integrating Ripple\u2019s stablecoin RLUSD into its ecosystem. Hoskinson said<\/a> the product seems the right choice, and the blockchain would embrace it if there is \u201ca reasonable path.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve already had a call with the RLUSD people. We are actively talking,\u201d he added.<\/span><\/p>\n

RLUSD\u2019s Progress<\/span><\/h2>\n

Ripple\u2019s stablecoin officially <\/span>saw the light of day<\/span><\/a> approximately a month ago after receiving the necessary approval from the New York Department of Financial Services (NYDFS).<\/span><\/p>\n

The <\/span>product,<\/span> pegged 1:1 to the American dollar, triggered huge excitement in the space and was embraced by some leading crypto exchanges. <\/span>Upon launch,<\/span> Uphold, Bitso, Moonpay, CoinMENA, <\/span>Bullish<\/span><\/a>, and others added trading services with RLUSD.<\/span><\/p>\n

Last week, Ripple\u2019s president, Monica Long, said people should expect such a move from other well-known platforms \u201cimminently.\u201d Just a day later, the Luxembourg-based Bitstamp <\/span>added<\/span><\/a> the trading pairs: RLUSD\/EUR, RLUSD\/USD, RLUSD\/USDT, RLUSD\/BTC, RLUSD\/ETH, and RLUSD\/XRP.<\/span><\/p>\n

Despite the announced support, the company emphasized the need for caution, advising that the stablecoin carries significant risks and may not be appropriate for all investors.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cDon\u2019t invest unless <\/span>you\u2019re prepared<\/span> to lose all the money you invest,\u201d it warned.<\/span><\/p>\n
