Ripple, the company behind the popular cryptocurrency XRP, continues to make huge waves in the digital asset space. Last month, it officially launched<\/a> a stablecoin pegged 1:1 to the American dollar, called RLUSD.<\/span><\/p>\n

The product triggered <\/span>huge<\/span> excitement across the community and received support from numerous leading crypto exchanges, such as Uphold, Bitso, Bullish, Moonpay, and others. <\/span><\/p>\n

As <\/span>CryptoPotato<\/span><\/em> reported<\/span><\/a>, the latest to <\/span>hop on<\/span> the bandwagon was the European-based Bitstamp. The entity added RLUSD\u00a0<\/span>on<\/span> the Ethereum network,\u00a0describing it as \u201ca robust solution designed for institutional-grade financial use cases.\u201d<\/span> The <\/span>exact<\/span> trading pairs available to users are RLUSD\/EUR, RLUSD\/USD, RLUSD\/USDT, RLUSD\/BTC, RLUSD\/ETH, and RLUSD\/XRP.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Earlier this week, Ripple\u2019s president, Monica Long, <\/span>said<\/span><\/a> people should expect other well-known crypto exchanges to embrace the stablecoin \u201cimminently.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The cryptocurrency market experienced a substantial retreat in the past few days, with Cardano (ADA) among the worst-affected tokens. Its price dropped from $1.14 on January 7 to $0.88 on January 9. The sector recovered some <\/span>of the<\/span> losses in the last several hours and ADA pumping to its current $0.97 (per CoinGecko\u2019s data).<\/span><\/p>\n

Meanwhile, numerous analysts <\/span>believe<\/span><\/a> the asset <\/span>is poised<\/span> for a real bull run <\/span>in the near future<\/span>. Dan Gambardello claimed\u00a0that ADA has \u201cone of the most bullish weekly pattern setups in crypto,\u201d <\/span>which represents<\/span> an \u201cinverse head and shoulders with <\/span>upward<\/span> sloping neckline.\u201d He assumed that a breakout to the upside could result in a price rally to as high as $7.<\/span><\/p>\n

For their part, Altcoin Daily made bullish predictions about multiple cryptocurrencies, envisioning ADA\u2019s price hitting $6.45 sometime in 2025.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

BTC\u2019s Price Swings<\/span><\/h2>\n

Similar to ADA, the primary cryptocurrency has also witnessed enhanced volatility recently. Recall that BTC surpassed $102,000 on January 7 but retraced below $92,000 two days later. The bulls managed to recover some ground, and as of this writing, the asset\u2019s price stands at over $94,500.

One popular X user <\/span>suggested<\/span><\/a> that BTC could skyrocket to $210,000 before Valentine\u2019s Day, while another <\/span>envisioned<\/span><\/a> a massive spike to as high as $500,000.<\/span><\/p>\n
