The controversial cryptocurrency project Pi Network saw the light of day in 2019. While it has witnessed multiple developments since then, the launch of its fully operational blockchain and native token has yet to <\/span>be seen<\/span>. <\/span><\/p>\n

The team has previously stated that the first <\/span>major<\/span> target is the introduction of Open Network. <\/span>This<\/span> could become possible once 15 million users pass necessary Know-Your-Customer (KYC) verifications and migrate to the mainnet (<\/span>known as<\/span> the Grace Period<\/span><\/a>). People have <\/span>until January 31 to abide by the rules. However, it won\u2019t be surprising if the deadline <\/span>is extended<\/span> again.<\/span><\/p>\n

Most recently, Pi Network <\/span>revealed<\/span><\/a> that over 9 million people have successfully migrated to the mainnet<\/span>, saying they<\/span> are \u201cmaking excellent progress towards Open Network.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

SHIB Users, Beware<\/span><\/h2>\n

The popular meme coin, launched in the summer of 2020, has evolved into a broader ecosystem in the past few years. The team recently revealed that TREAT (a reward token that <\/span>provides incentives for<\/span> users engaging with Shiba Inu\u2019s protocols, including the layer-2 scaling solution Shibarium) will go live on <\/span>January 14<\/span>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

While the development sparked enthusiasm across the community, it also <\/span>provided scammers an opportunity<\/span> to con inexperienced users.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Shibarium Trustwatch (an X account that aims to provide security) recently warned that wrongdoers offer fake TREAT services to people, alerting them to stay away from such dubious individuals:<\/span><\/p>\n

BTC was trading <\/span>at<\/span> around $93,000 on <\/span>January 1<\/span>, with the bulls gradually pushing the valuation up in the following days.<\/span><\/p>\n

This time, the company, founded by Michael Saylor, acquired 1,070 BTC for $101 million at an average price of $94,004.<\/span><\/p>\n

Interestingly, many of the firm\u2019s previous Bitcoin purchases were followed by corrections. Currently, BTC trades at around $101,500, representing an 8% weekly increase.
