While most leading cryptocurrencies have consolidated in the past 24 hours, this is not the case with Cardano (ADA). Its price is up 12% <\/span>on a daily scale<\/span>, currently trading at approximately $1.05 (per CoinGecko\u2019s data). <\/span>In fact,<\/span> this is the highest level observed since mid-December last year.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

There seems to be no specific reason for ADA\u2019s resurgence. However, the boost could potentially be related to the expected developments within Cardano\u2019s ecosystem this year. A few days ago, Charles Hoskinson <\/span>claimed<\/span><\/a> that in 2025, \u201cCardano is going to heights it\u2019s never been before.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe got Bitcoin DeFi, Midnight, Patnerchains, all the DApp upgrades, Midgard, and some extra magic that we\u2019ll call \u201cthe fire rises,\u201d the co-founder stated.<\/span><\/p>\n

Prior to<\/span> that, Hoskinson <\/span>displayed<\/span><\/a> his intentions to spend much of his time helping the Trump administration create a comprehensive and possibly more favorable regulatory environment for the digital asset industry.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Recall that the Republican emerged victorious in the US presidential elections in November last year, and his win triggered <\/span>huge<\/span> excitement across the crypto community. After all, Trump <\/span>made<\/span><\/a> several promises that could benefit those <\/span>in favor of<\/span> the sector.<\/span><\/p>\n

He will officially become America\u2019s 47th President on January 20, and we have yet to see whether he will keep his word and allow the crypto industry to thrive.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

ADA Price Predictions<\/span><\/h2>\n

According to multiple industry participants, the price of Cardano\u2019s native token has much more room for growth. <\/span>The X user Ali Martinez<\/span>, for instance,<\/span> suggested<\/span><\/a> that ADA \u201cis shaping up like it did last cycle,\u201d which could be followed by a push to a new all-time high of $4 in the next few weeks.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Nebraskangooner chipped in, too. They don\u2019t seem like a big fan of ADA, calling it \u201cthe most worthless crypto ever.\u201d However, the analyst <\/span>believes<\/span><\/a> this could make it \u201cpump hard for <\/span>absolutely<\/span> no reason.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Contrary to the bullish forecasts, one essential metric signals good days ahead for the bears. <\/span>This<\/span> is<\/span> the Relative Strength Index (RSI), <\/span>which<\/span> measures the speed and change of price movements.<\/span> The technical analysis tool varies from 0 to 100, with ratios above 70 indicating that ADA could have entered the <\/span>overbought<\/span> territory, meaning it might head south soon. Currently, the asset\u2019s RSI is <\/span>in the bearish zone<\/span><\/a> of 80.<\/span><\/p>\n
