As promised in my previous posts, I\u2019m excited to announce that this year I\u2019m launching an app to make my trading journey completely transparent.<\/p>\n
Last year, I dove into coding trading strategies and indicators on TradingView.<\/p>\n
The main goal was to speed up my learning process. Manually backtesting each strategy to see if it worked on a given asset was incredibly time-consuming.<\/p>\n
And even after confirming a strategy worked for one asset, it could fail on another. Plus, if I wanted to tweak the strategy, I had to redo all those tests from\u00a0scratch!<\/p>\n
As I got deeper into this world, my YouTube feed filled up with trading signals and \u201cwinning\u201d strategies that looked too good to be true. That\u2019s why I started coding automated versions of them\u2014only to discover that, in the long run, many weren\u2019t nearly as incredible as they\u00a0claimed.<\/p>\n
While writing and testing these strategies, I stumbled upon some valuable insights.<\/p>\n
I gained a deeper understanding of indicators and saw what actually made sense and worked in the\u00a0market.<\/p>\n
That\u2019s when I got the idea to develop a tool that could analyze these strategies\u2019 results\u2014and eventually automate trading for each\u00a0one.<\/strong><\/p>\n I\u2019ve noticed that many traders show off their \u201camazing\u201d results only when they\u2019re winning. But you rarely see the behind-the-scenes details: the losing trades, the risk management, or the trading\u00a0plan.<\/p>\n I see what you are\u00a0doing\u2026<\/p>\n I wanted to do something different\u2014something fully transparent.<\/p>\n That\u2019s why, starting this year, I\u2019ve officially launched an app that displays each strategy\u2019s performance in real-time. (It\u2019s on it\u2019s initial phase, take this into consideration xD)<\/p>\n For now, January will serve as a proof of concept while I iron out any issues that might come up.
