Jonathan Hough KC, representing the Crypto Open Patent Alliance (COPA), a nonprofit group of cryptocurrency companies, highlighted this defiance, stating that Wright\u2019s actions were intended to inflict \u201cmaximum possible distress.\u201d<\/p>\n
Hough also told the court that the 54-year-old\u2019s behavior had caused significant harm, describing his legal threats as a form of \u201cterrorism\u201d against developers and bloggers.<\/p>\n
He argued that his recent lawsuits were a \u201cdesperate publicity stunt\u201d to keep his supporters engaged.
