Bitcoin\u2019s price movements over the weekend culminated in a rally that pushed the asset to a new all-time high of $106,500, but it has dropped by around two grand since then.<\/p>\n

Most altcoins are slightly sluggish on a daily scale, aside from LINK, SUI, and AAVE, all of which have registered impressive gains.<\/p>\n

BTC\u2019s Latest Peak<\/h2>\n

After the two price drops at the start of the previous business week, both of which pushed BTC south to $94,400, the cryptocurrency went on the offensive and spiked to roughly $100,000 by Thursday.<\/p>\n

Following some uncertainty at that level, the asset flew past it on Friday and hasn\u2019t really looked back since. It hovered around $102,000 during the weekend, and after a few unsuccessful breakout attempts,<\/a> it managed to push above<\/a> it during the early morning Asian trading session.<\/p>\n

Perhaps fueled<\/a> by some positive comments from Donald Trump and the growing number of whale wallets, BTC skyrocketed to a new all-time high of $106,500 (on Bitstamp). Nevertheless, it has lost some steam since then and now sits around two grand lower.<\/p>\n

Its market capitalization is up to $2.070 trillion on CoinGecko, while its dominance over the altcoins is close to 54%.<\/p>\n

SUI Sees New High<\/h2>\n

Most larger-cap alts have posted either small gains or insignificant losses over the past day. ETH is slightly in the green, trading above $3,900, while XRP, SOL, BNB, DOGE, ADA, TRX, and AVAX have declined by about 1-2% each.<\/p>\n

In contrast, LINK and AAVE have emerged among the top performers, surging by 4% and 5%, respectively. SUI has jumped by over 6% and sits above $4.7. Moreover, it tapped a fresh all-time high as well hours ago at over $4.9, according to CoinGecko data.<\/p>\n

The total crypto market cap has added around $80 billion since yesterday and is up to $3.850 trillion on CG.<\/p>\n
