Shrub (SHRUB), up 113,335%\u2026<\/em><\/p>\n Nutcoin (NUT)\u00a0+3,876%\u2026<\/p>\n Peanut the Squirrel (PNUT)\u00a0+1,949%\u2026<\/em><\/p>\n Bertram The Pomeranian (BERT)\u00a0+1,608%\u2026<\/em><\/p>\n Fartcoin (FARTCOIN) (FART) +\u00a0947%\u2026<\/p>\n These are all in just the past month\u00a0alone.<\/p>\n I could keep going. Here\u2019s Evan (EVAN), up 951%\u2026 and Hege (HEGE), up 336% in the past 7\u00a0days.<\/p>\n Frenzy is an understatement.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, bitcoin\u2019s (BTC) sits at all-time highs, about to cross $100,000 any day\u00a0now.<\/p>\n Ethereum (ETH)<\/a> and Solana (SOL)<\/a>\u200a\u2014\u200amy two favorite large cryptos\u200a\u2014\u200aare up 34% and 30%, respectively, in the past\u00a0month.<\/p>\n Any stock market investor would be thrilled with those returns. But you can see why they\u2019re not as \u201cexciting\u201d as the tiny memecoins that can spike 1,000% overnight.<\/p>\n Here\u2019s the chart of Google searches for the term \u201cmemecoins\u201d over the past 90 days. Talk about hockey stick\u00a0growth:<\/p>\n Source: Google\u00a0Trends<\/em><\/p>\n I believe this is just the beginning.<\/p>\n Readers who\u2019ve been following along know the whole crypto sector was like a basketball held underwater<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n Now, thanks to Trump\u2019s victory, it\u2019s being unleashed all at once. The sector is a Wild West of new opportunity\u200a\u2014\u200awith all the good, bad, and ugly that comes with that. And that includes funny, but useless, memecoins.<\/p>\n Bonk (BONK), for example, is up 119% <\/em><\/strong>in November. It\u2019s a dog-themed coin on the Solana blockchain. It\u2019s known for its fast and low-cost transactions. According to crypto news, Bonk plans to burn 1 trillion tokens by Christmas, which would boost scarcity and potentially drive up the price. At least, that\u2019s what its fans are betting\u00a0on.<\/p>\n Or Pepe (PEPE), an Ethereum-based coin that was inspired by the Pepe the Frog\u00a0meme.<\/p>\n There\u2019s also a Pikachu Inu (PIKACHU) coin up 1,285% in one\u00a0month.<\/p>\n These are entertainment\u200a\u2014\u200apure speculation. This part of the crypto market is like the world\u2019s greatest casino. Like any casino, some folks get lucky. A lot of folks are getting very lucky\u00a0lately.<\/p>\n And they\u2019ll probably keep getting lucky given we\u2019ve entered the altseason. This is the part of the bitcoin cycle<\/a> where smaller cryptos outperform bitcoin.<\/p>\n But 99% of these memecoins are jokes and will go to zero in less than a year. For the most part, they\u2019re a bad look for the crypto industry. A distraction that causes people to not take the whole industry seriously. Which is a shame because there\u2019s real, exciting innovation going on in the\u00a0space.<\/p>\n There\u2019s hundreds crypto businesses using the power of blockchain to solve real-world problems.<\/p>\n The only thing they have in common with memecoins is they\u2019re cryptos, and they\u2019re often\u00a0tiny.<\/p>\n And these kinds of businesses are now set to thrive thanks to the new pro-crypto Congress. Less regulations and more innovation. SEC Chair Gary Gensler (who led the crackdown in crypto), just announced on X\/Twitter that he\u2019s stepping\u00a0down.<\/p>\n With new regulatory support after the 2024 election, Bitcoin is reaching unprecedented highs.<\/strong> Crypto\u2019s path is clearer than ever, making this a prime moment to take\u00a0action.<\/p>\n The crypto renaissance is unfolding fast.<\/p>\n For almost four years, building a legitimate crypto business in America has been basically illegal. Entrepreneurs who wanted to build real businesses in this industry risked jail\u00a0time.<\/p>\n This put innovation on pause. Developers told me, \u201cI\u2019d love to build this, but I don\u2019t want to go to jail.\u201d It was a constant regulatory barrage. Crypto banks were shut down by the government. Founders and funds were sued. Protocols were subject to constant surveillance sweeps.<\/p>\n That era just\u00a0ended.<\/p>\n Think of it like taking the handcuffs off thousands of entrepreneurs at once. The innovation surge will shock people who think crypto is just about speculation.<\/p>\n It\u2019s like buying internet stocks in the\u00a090s<\/a>.<\/p>\n We invested in Hivemapper (HONEY)<\/a> in my Venture<\/em><\/a> <\/em>advisory at <\/em><\/strong>$0.01. A year later we sold half of that position for a 1,050% gain. We continue to hold the other\u00a0half.<\/p>\n This may look like you\u2019ve already missed the boat.
