No Change Among the Leaders<\/span><\/h2>\n

Real-world assets (RWA) <\/span>have<\/span> gained traction in the past several months due to the rising prices of some tokens.<\/span> While they exist in the physical world (representing objects or properties), they are tokenized and function on the blockchain through smart contracts.<\/span><\/p>\n

Earlier this week, crypto analytics platform Santiment outlined<\/a> the top 10 such tokens in terms of <\/span>development activity on a monthly scale<\/span>.<\/span> Chainlink (LINK) takes first place with a score of 501.93. It performed <\/span>quite<\/span> well during the first quarter of the year, with its price surpassing $21 in mid-March. <\/span><\/p>\n

However, it has been <\/span>on a severe downfall<\/span> in the past few months, currently trading at around $11.20 (per CoinGecko\u2019s data). Its market capitalization stands at approximately $6.8 billion, making it the 18th-biggest in the crypto market.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Synthetix Network (SNX) and Centrifuge (CFG) are ranked second and third with scores of 233.93 and 96.1, respectively.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Oraichain Token (ORAI), Dusk (DUSK), Maker (MKR), and IX Swap (IX) follow suit. It is worth mentioning that the first seven positions were in the same order after Santiment\u2019s previous analysis.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Polymex (POLYX) has climbed the ladder and now holds the eighth spot, while Defactor (FACTR) showed some improvement to enter the top 10 list. Creditcoin (CTC) is ninth after being placed higher in the previous ranking.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Which One is Missing<\/span>\u2026<\/span> Again?<\/span><\/h2>\n

Meanwhile, one of the top performers in the RWA realm<\/span> \u2013 <\/span>Mantra (OM)<\/span> \u2013 <\/span>did not <\/span>find a spot in<\/span> the line up.<\/span> The token\u2019s price experienced a bull run this year, rising from a mere $0.05 on January 1 to $1.40 towards the end of July.<\/span><\/p>\n

OM headed south in the following weeks, settling at around $0.91, <\/span>which<\/span> represents<\/span> a whopping 1,700% increase year-to-date (YTD).<\/span> It is worth mentioning that the asset <\/span>did not make the list<\/span><\/a> in July, either, despite being close to its best shape <\/span>at that time<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Some industry participants praised OM for its impressive performance <\/span>as of late<\/span>, predicting further advancements in the near future.<\/span> Crypto Coach (an X user with over 200,000 followers) recently <\/span>claimed<\/span><\/a> that it remains one of the best-performing altcoins, \u201cholding strong levels despite the poor market.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
