It cannot tell you whether investors, team members or contributors will hold, stake, transfer or sell\u00a0them.<\/p>\n<p>\ud83d\udca1 That\u2019s why a token unlock can increase <em>potential<\/em> circulating supply without creating the same amount of immediate selling pressure. Exchange flows, liquidity and holder behaviour matter\u00a0too.<\/p>\n<p>\u20bf <strong>Bitcoin had another volatile week<\/strong>, trading largely around the low-$80,000s. Then US spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded <strong>$526.6M in net inflows on 19 October<\/strong>, their strongest daily result in nearly a\u00a0month.<\/p>\n<p>\ud83c\udfdb\ufe0f <strong>Crypto regulation was busy in Washington.<\/strong> The comment period on US Treasury rules implementing parts of the <strong>GENIUS Act<\/strong> closed on 19 October, while comments on the SEC\u2019s proposed <strong>Regulation Crypto Assets<\/strong> framework were due on 20\u00a0October.<\/p>\n<p>\u26a1 <strong>And today is a major date for Solana.<\/strong> The <strong>Alpenglow<\/strong> consensus upgrade is scheduled to activate on mainnet on 21 October, targeting finality of roughly <strong>150 milliseconds<\/strong>, versus about 12.8 seconds previously.<\/p>\n<p>\ud83d\udc40 <strong>Fun fact:<\/strong> 150 milliseconds is roughly in blink-of-an-eye territory.
