However, Worldcoin (WLD) moved in the opposite direction, soaring to its highest level in a week. Check out what triggered the pump and some of the potential price targets ahead.<\/p>\n

\u2018The Bulls Have Taken the Wheel\u2019<\/h2>\n

WLD briefly surged to nearly $0.55 before slightly plunging to the current $0.53 (per CoinGecko). Its market capitalization surpassed the $2 billion psychological mark, making it the 50th-largest cryptocurrency after flipping Polkadot (DOT), Aster (ASTER), and other popular altcoins.<\/p>\n

The rally appears to have been fueled<\/a> by Worldcoin\u2019s introduction of World ID for banking and finance: a new suite of identity-verification technology aimed at institutions. The disclosure highlighted real-world use cases, including authentication for Zoom meetings and AI agents, and revealed collaborations with major financial players such as Pantera Capital, VanEck Funds, and Bain Capital.<\/p>\n

According to Altcoin Sherpa, WLD could be preparing for its next major upward move, noting that it remains one of their few active positions.<\/p>\n

\u201cI like the chart, I like the coin, and I think they have more announcements to come,\u201d the analyst added<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Sjuul | AltCryptoGems also chipped in, saying<\/a> WLD has retested the high-timeframe trend from above and held the line. In his view, the downtrend seems clearly over, and \u201cthe bulls have taken the wheel.\u201d<\/p>\n

Crypto Patel was even more optimistic. The analyst still believes WLD is poised for a price explosion toward a new all-time high of $12, setting $1.65, $4.25, and eventually $12 as micro targets. However, they warned<\/a> that a weekly close below $0.22 would invalidate the uptrend.<\/p>\n

A Pivotal Moment<\/h2>\n

X user Alex Marzell highlighted<\/a> WLD\u2019s jump above $0.50, calling it the level that will decide the next move. He thinks holding it could open the door to a rise to $0.54, while losing it might lead to a retest of $0.47.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the token\u2019s Relative Strength Index (RSI) suggests that the bears may soon regain some lost ground. The tool measures the speed and magnitude of recent price changes to identify potential reversal points. It ranges from 0 to 100, where anything beyond 70 signals that WLD has entered overbought territory and may be due for a short-term pullback. Conversely, readings below 30 are typically seen as buying opportunities. As of this writing, the RSI stands at approximately 72.<\/p>\n
