A synthetic weekend FX market may drift away from the price that eventually reopens in conventional markets, particularly around major political, economic or central-bank events.<\/p>\n

At 100x maximum leverage, small pricing differences can become very large account-level consequences.<\/p>\n

Another Line Between Crypto And TradFi Blurs<\/h2>\n

This is part of a bigger pattern.<\/p>\n

Crypto exchanges increasingly trade products that have little to do with crypto itself.<\/p>\n

Tokenized<\/a> stocks, gold, commodities, prediction markets<\/a> and now FX derivatives are all moving onto infrastructure originally built around digital assets.<\/p>\n

That means the boundary between a crypto exchange<\/a> and a general-purpose global trading venue keeps getting harder to define.<\/p>\n

Binance\u2019s first contract is relatively narrow.<\/p>\n

But if the USD\/BRL product attracts volume, it would be surprising if the exchange stopped there.<\/p>\n
