Robinhood has launched cryptocurrency trading for UK investors, thus expanding its local offering beyond stocks, options, and futures.<\/p>\n
The service will begin rolling out<\/a> to eligible customers this week through Bitstamp UK Ltd.<\/p>\n Users will be able to trade over 50 digital assets, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP, Hyperliquid, and more. The firm said crypto trading will also come with zero trading, account maintenance, or custody fees. However, the users will have to pay a 0.1% FX fee, which will increase to 0.3% during weekends.<\/p>\n Speaking on the matter was Jordan Sinclair, President of Robinhood UK LTD and GM of Bitstamp UK LTD, who said:<\/p>\n \u201cA new wave of UK investors sees digital assets as an important part of a diversified portfolio. With today\u2019s launch, we\u2019re taking another major step toward becoming the all-in=one investment platform for the UK.\u201d<\/p>\n Moreover, the firm is also introducing Cortex Digests for Crypto \u2013 an AI-powered feature that\u2019s designed to summarize market news, technical indicators, and factors that influence individual crypto assets.<\/p>\n It\u2019s also worth noting that the announcement comes amid interesting times for Robinhood, as its proprietary Robinhood Chain continues attracting attention.
