Although I\u2019m not based in the U.S. and didn\u2019t follow the election in great detail, this one was interesting to watch due to its crypto\u00a0angle.<\/p>\n

In the last election, Trump was vocal in his criticism of crypto, even calling it a\u00a0\u201cscam.\u201d<\/p>\n

But this election has been a total 180. Trump came out openly supporting Bitcoin, pledging to make the U.S. the \u201cworld capital\u201d of cryptocurrency, and even making Bitcoin payment for a\u00a0burger!<\/p>\n

Watching all this from a distance feels surreal\u200a\u2014\u200aalmost like a\u00a0Fugazi.<\/p>\n

This put him ahead of his rivals in the crypto\u00a0race.<\/p>\n

Seeing Bitcoin hit an all-time high amid all this feels like a happy ending\u200a\u2014\u200abut hold on. Here are a few more insights:<\/p>\n

Before the token launch, Trump\u2019s crypto portfolio was reportedly worth around $3 to $6 million. Now, with the platform\u2019s launch, his holdings are reportedly raising over $300 million, making him a near crypto-billionaire and a key figure in the crypto\u00a0space.<\/p>\n

From my perspective, this Bitcoin rally might not last forever. While it\u2019s unlikely to crash abruptly, I think it could return to around $50\u2013$60K and move from\u00a0there.<\/p>\n

But who knows? It all depends on market sentiment.<\/p>\n

One undeniable takeaway is that crypto is now a hot topic in one of the world\u2019s most powerful nation. Hopefully, this trend will continue, with more nations taking crypto seriously and building ecosystems around\u00a0it.<\/p>\n
