For SOL holders, the significance runs deeper than a software update. Solana has suffered repeated network outages since its 2020 mainnet launch, with high-traffic events routinely overwhelming its consensus layer and halting the chain entirely. Alpenglow is the direct attempt to fix that at the protocol level.<\/p>\n
