Warren<\/h2>\n<p><span>The US Senate elections are scheduled for November 5 and will offer some interesting duels. The battle for Massachusetts, for instance, features Republican candidate John Deaton (who represents thousands of XRP investors in Ripple\u2019s lawsuit against the US SEC) versus the incumbent Senator from the Democratic party, Elizabeth Warren.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cI am running for US Senate to continue my <\/span><span>life\u2019s<\/span><span> mission <\/span><span>to<\/span> <span>shake<\/span><span> things up for the people who need it most.<\/span> <span>I fought for the little guy,<\/span><span> I <\/span><span>took on the greedy corporations and the heartless insurance companies, and<\/span><span> I <\/span><span>won,\u201d Deaton <\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/pro-ripple-xrp-lawyer-john-deaton-v-crypto-critic-elizabeth-warren-in-the-battle-of-massachusetts\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span>said<\/span><\/a><span> earlier this year.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Somewhat <\/span><span>expectedly<\/span><span>, the pro-XRP attorney received support from some notable names in the cryptocurrency industry. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>One example is Brian Armstrong (CEO of Coinbase), who <\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/brian_armstrong\/status\/1848204362533032155\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span>urged<\/span><\/a><span> Massachusetts residents to vote for Deaton. Tesla\u2019s CEO retweeted the post, reaping applause from pro-Ripple users.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span>Hoskinson\u2019s Support<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span>Another well-known individual who cheers for Deaton in his contest against Senator Warren is Cardano\u2019s founder, Charles Hoskinson.
