The rally could <\/span>be <\/span>attributed<\/span><\/a> to Elon Musk\u2019s comments during his recent public speech in Pennsylvania. Tesla\u2019s CEO <\/span>was asked<\/span> if he would lead a new potential division (<\/span>called<\/span> Department of Government Efficiency) in an eventual Donald Trump administration. He simply answered, \u201cYeah, DOGE,\u201d receiving applause from the crowd.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This is not the first time the leading meme coin has headed north following interaction <\/span>from<\/span> one of the wealthiest people on the planet. In March this year, Musk <\/span>said<\/span><\/a> that Tesla may allow DOGE payments \u201cat some point.\u201d <\/span>This<\/span> resulted in a double-digit rally for the token\u2019s price.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Two months later, the <\/span>EV giant<\/span> officially <\/span>integrated<\/span><\/a> DOGE as a payment option on its website. The move fueled another substantial (yet brief) spike <\/span>for<\/span> the asset.<\/span><\/p>\n

Musk has <\/span>been openly supportive of<\/span> Dogecoin over the past few years, praising its merits multiple times. At one point, he even referred to himself as the \u201cDOGEFATHER.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Is DOGE Poised for Further Gains?<\/span><\/h2>\n

The<\/span> latest resurgence of the meme coin <\/span>caught the eye of numerous analysts<\/span>.<\/span> X user Dylan, for instance, said a massive revival of the other altcoins could follow DOGE\u2019s pump.<\/span><\/p>\n

Earlier this week, Ali Martinez also chipped in, <\/span>outlining<\/span><\/a> a rather ridiculous prediction. He presented a chart showing that DOGE could explode to an all-time high of $10 in the following months.<\/span><\/p>\n

It is important to note that this would require its market cap to skyrocket to approximately $1.4 trillion. Currently, only Bitcoin (BTC) is close to that target, while the entire capitalization of the cryptocurrency sector is hovering around $2.44 trillion (per CoinGecko\u2019s data).<\/span><\/p>\n

Despite the bullish mode as of late, one metric suggests<\/a> DOGE could head south soon. This is the Relative Strength Index (RSI), whose ratio is currently above the critical level of 70. Such readings typically indicate that DOGE is in overbought territory and might be due for a pullback.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
