\u2022 \ud83c\udde8\ud83c\uddf3 Chinese indices are trading in a narrow range, with moves limited to around \u00b10.25%<\/strong>.
\u2022 \ud83c\udde6\ud83c\uddfa Australia\u2019s AU200<\/strong> is up 0.80%<\/strong>.
\u2022 \ud83c\uddef\ud83c\uddf5 Japan\u2019s Nikkei 225<\/strong> is higher by about 0.15%<\/strong>, after reacting to the results of the parliamentary elections, where the ruling party secured a decisive\u00a0victory.<\/p>\n

\ud83d\uddf3\ufe0f Japan focus:<\/strong> Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi\u2019s Liberal Democratic Party<\/strong> won 316 out of 465 seats<\/strong> in the lower house, marking the most decisive post-war victory for a ruling party. Japanese equities hit new record highs<\/strong>, government bonds came under selling pressure, and the yen weakened sharply early in the session before stabilising later.<\/p>\n

\ud83d\udcb1 FX:<\/strong> Overall FX trading is relatively quiet. The Japanese yen<\/strong> remains the main source of volatility, driven by market reaction to Japan\u2019s election outcome and expectations of fiscal expansion.<\/p>\n
