Bitcoin topped $96,000 on Coinbase in early trading in Asia on Wednesday morning, according to TradingView.<\/p>\n
It is the highest price the cryptocurrency has reached since November 16, marking a two-month high. BTC has now gained<\/a> 9% since the beginning of 2026, as fears and panic from October\u2019s record liquidation event are put behind us.<\/p>\n The move came after US President Trump urged Federal Reserve chair Jerome Powell to cut interest rates following<\/a> a lower-than-expected CPI print.<\/p>\n There is a good chance we retest the bull market support band relatively soon, commented analyst \u2018Daan Crypto Trades\u2019 on Tuesday. The band is \u201cmoving down at a fast pace while price is attempting to grind higher,\u201d he observed.<\/p>\n \u201cThat retest is one we see every time.
