US President Donald Trump has claimed that the US will now effectively \u201crun\u201d Venezuela\u2019s oil industry. The Venezuelan President was taken down on charges of drug trafficking. Reports suggest that Venezuela may have a Bitcoin reserve of 600,000 to 660,000 \u2013 making it one of the largest Bitcoin holding countries in the world.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/search?q=Venezuela%20markets%20bitcoin&amp;src=typed_query&amp;f=top\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Media reports and X<\/a>, \u201cIntelligence Reports\u201d suggest that Venezuela accumulated a \u201cshadow reserve\u201d of BTC and Tether (USDT) estimated at around $60 billion. Apparently, the reserve was built through \u201cgold swaps.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>This development can either give a boost to Bitcoin prices in Q1 2026 or the unearthed BTC could form a part of the government strategic reserve.
