But 2025 was not all bad. According to a Financial Times <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ft.com\/content\/b4d5e238-c34a-4602-91d0-4c7300b0006f\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">report<\/a>, a record $8.6 billion worth of crypto deals were struck in 2025. PitchBook data suggests that 267 crypto deals were struck this year. This marks an 18% rise compared to 2024.\u00a0 \u201cIt\u2019s been the busiest year for us in crypto deals by a mile,\u201d said Charles Kerrigan, partner at law firm CMS.
