Nym Technologies is a privacy-focused infrastructure provider that uses decentralized mixnet technology to enhance online security by protecting network-level metadata.<\/p>\n

The NYM token<\/a> plays a vital role in the Nym mixnet and Appchain. It grants users access to the network, enables the payment of transaction fees, and supports the system\u2019s privacy infrastructure. The use of the mixnet<\/a>, NYM claims, is that it can route network traffic in a way that makes it untraceable, even for global internet monitoring systems.<\/p>\n

The NYM token is available on two blockchain standards: ERC-20 as well as the native NYM on the Cosmos chain, which allows users to delegate tokens and engage with the Nym ecosystem. Bitfinex will list the NYM mainnet token on Cosmos, and will also provide a facility for any customer who wishes to deposit the ERC-20 token, allowing individuals to convert it to the mainnet token to trade, using the Bitfinex currency conversion tool.<\/p>\n

NYM deposits will be opened at approximately 12:00 PM UTC on 8 October, 2024, subject to network conditions. Trading is planned to commence at approximately 10:00 AM on 10 October, 2024, contingent upon liquidity requirements being met. NYM will be tradable against US Dollars (NYM\/USD) and Tether tokens (NYM\/USDt).\u00a0<\/p>\n
