Strategy Chairman Michael Saylor pushed back on Friday against fresh claims that his company had reduced its bitcoin holdings.<\/span><\/p>\n

The talk began when X user Walter Bloomberg <\/span>highlighted<\/span> Arkham data showing what looked like a drop in Strategy\u2019s wallets, from about 484,000 BTC to roughly 437,000 BTC.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Arkham data shows Michael Saylor\u2019s Strategy (MSTR) reduced its Bitcoin holdings from 484,000 to about 437,000, a drop of roughly 47,000 BTC. It\u2019s unclear whether this came from transfers or sales. This is the first\u2026<\/p>\n

Bloomberg reported it was unclear if the shift came from internal transfers or actual sales, noting it would be the first recorded decrease since July 2023.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The post spread quickly, and Saylor responded soon after.<\/span><\/p>\n

Speaking on CNBC, the Strategy co-founder dismissed the reports and said the company has not changed its long-term view, even as the market continues to slide.<\/span><\/p>\n

Arkham pushed back on Bloomberg\u2019s report, saying Strategy often shifts its wallets and custodians.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The firm added that the movements seen earlier in the day were likely part of those routine transfers.<\/span><\/p>\n

A Nov. 10 <\/span>filing<\/span><\/a> with the US Securities and Exchange Commission shows Strategy bought 487 BTC for about $49.9M, bringing its total to 641,692 BTC.<\/span><\/p>\n
