Some skeptics believe Bitcoin is a nothing-burger, or that\u2019s fake. It\u2019s more real than many people think, and we\u2019ve yet to see the best of\u00a0it.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s been more than 16 years since Bitcoin became went into existence.<\/p>\n
Even to this day, there\u2019s still a lot of questions and debate whether Bitcoin is a real thing, or is it this fake thing that people buy for no good\u00a0reason?<\/p>\n
I find it interesting because Bitcoin has been around since\u00a02009-<\/p>\n
Yet people still think it\u2019s not\u00a0real.<\/p>\n
I think there\u2019s something more to it that I think a lot of people don\u2019t\u00a0realize.<\/p>\n
We don\u2019t understand what the future of Bitcoin holds and how it can benefit society together.<\/p>\n
I\u2019ve been reading a lot about Bitcoin over the last few years, but definitely most recently, I feel that Bitcoin has come a long\u00a0way.<\/p>\n
When it started out even over a decade ago around $110, and how quickly it grew in value when it went into the $10K value, then the $20K number, and so\u00a0forth.<\/p>\n
I think the $20K or the $20,000 standpoint was when people started to take Bitcoin more seriously.<\/p>\n
They started buying into it for good\u00a0reason.<\/p>\n
But also at the same time, it\u2019s a volatile asset<\/a> that moves up quickly, but it can also move\u00a0down.<\/p>\n So, why is there so much volatility around\u00a0Bitcoin?<\/p>\n Even though it\u2019s in its teenage years, it still has yet to develop an established point where people are like, \u201cOkay, it\u2019s now the\u00a0norm.\u201d<\/p>\n It is what it is, and acceptable in everyday\u00a0society.<\/p>\n We\u2019re not there yet, but I would say we\u2019re still in the early adoption\u00a0stage.<\/p>\n But at some point in time over the next several years, we\u2019ll probably get to mass adoption at some\u00a0point.<\/p>\n It definitely has come a long\u00a0way.<\/p>\n As much as some people think it\u2019s not real or it should be abandoned altogether, I think it\u2019s a real phenomenon.<\/p>\n I think we have yet to see the best years of Bitcoin because there\u2019s a lot to look forward to, and especially when it comes to blockchain.<\/p>\n I\u2019m a big fan of blockchain technology.<\/p>\n I think it\u2019s something that over time it\u2019s going to change the way we manage finances.<\/p>\n So there\u2019s a lot to look forward to because I don\u2019t think Bitcoin is going away anytime\u00a0soon.<\/p>\n It will be something that we will look into, and I think a lot of people will be adopting\u00a0it.<\/p>\n Now the question is- Will it be adopted as a primary currency or be the world\u2019s reserve currency?<\/p>\n I don\u2019t\u00a0know.<\/p>\n It won\u2019t happen tomorrow or so, but maybe at some\u00a0point.<\/p>\n But that yet remains to be seen, and it\u2019ll be something to really take into consideration.<\/p>\n I talk about Bitcoin a little bit in my newest ebook called \u201cPennyfull versus Cashflow\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n I discuss about how Bitcoin is one of the other alternatives to savings accounts, and how it can be more beneficial to building your\u00a0wealth.<\/p>\n Although there\u2019s another way that I do talk about in the ebook as well that I think would be a far much better\u00a0choice.<\/p>\n But that\u2019s for you to\u00a0decide.<\/p>\n There\u2019s definitely a lot of good insights when it comes to Bitcoin, but also some other alternatives that I go\u00a0over.<\/p>\n So if that interests you, be sure to check it out here<\/a>, and I look forward to seeing you on the other\u00a0side.<\/p>\n Until tomorrow,<\/p>\n -Eric<\/p>\n Photo by Kanchanara<\/a> on\u00a0Unsplash<\/a><\/p>\n Bitcoin\u2019s Not Going Away- It\u2019s Here To Stay<\/a> was originally published in Coinmonks<\/a> on Medium, where people are continuing the conversation by highlighting and responding to this story.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Some skeptics believe Bitcoin is a nothing-burger, or that\u2019s fake.
