Saros (SAROS) surged ahead today in the altcoin space. It outpaced Akash Network (AKT) and Zcash (ZEC) as traders moved into higher-beta assets.<\/span><\/p>\n

On Monday, Oct. 27, the Solana-based token surged by roughly +35% in the past 24 hours to approximately $0.107, leading the broader market bounce.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n\n

AKT <\/span>rose<\/span><\/a> about +34 % to around $0.863, and ZEC <\/span>climbed<\/span><\/a> roughly +24% to near $347.<\/span><\/p>\n

What is SAROS, and How Is the $10 Million Liquidity Grant Program Boosting SAROS Activity?<\/h2>\n

Saros is a Solana-native \u201csuper app\u201d that bundles key functions, including a DEX\/liquidity stack, a non-custodial wallet, an ID layer (SarosID), and NFT tooling. That positions its token at the center of trading and payments within its ecosystem.<\/span><\/p>\n

Recent momentum followed <\/span>Saros\u2019s launch of a $10M<\/span><\/a> Liquidity Grant Program on Oct. 24. The initiative pairs partner tokens with SAROS to build stronger liquidity pools for new listings.<\/span><\/p>\n

Akash Network\u2019s AKT token also jumped more than 30% during the day as the community looked ahead to the \u201c<\/span>Mainnet 14<\/span><\/a>\u201d upgrade, scheduled for Oct. 27 pending a governance vote.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Akash core team is simulating the full Mainnet 14 upgrade in Sandbox currently. When successful, the team will propose an upgrade on chain on Monday. <\/p>\n

Upon approval, the Mainnet 14 upgrade will occur on October 27th, 2025.<\/p>\n
